Ian Williams graduated from George Washington University’s National Law Center in 1988. Becoming a lawyer and passing the D.C. bar exam in 1988 was only the beginning of the fulfillment of a dream that began when Ian was ten years old.
After law school Ian worked for almost four years in a small D.C. based law firm that specialized in insurance defense before he realized his ultimate professional dream of starting his own law practice. Since 1992 Ian has practiced in a wide variety of fields primarily as a sole practitioner.
Ian has been an active member of the bar in the District of Columbia and Maryland and has spent considerable time in court in both jurisdictions defending individuals charged with criminal offenses. Ian has also participated in many civil cases vindicating the rights of injured persons and defending individuals who have been sued. Ian is a proud recent member of the bar of the Commonwealth of Virginia and looks forward to advocating on behalf of individuals throughout Northern Virginia.
